Born and raised in Shreveport, LA, Je’Bria grew up the oldest sibling of her 3 brothers and 1 sister. As a child, Je’Bria was playful, energetic, and outspoken. She recalls having an entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for sales beginning at a young age, and she would often sell candy or drawings, pretending to run her own business. As the daughter of two entrepreneurs who value the importance of hard work, Je’Bria was destined to be her own boss!
During her years at Captian Shreve High School, Je’Bria played on the tennis team, served as co-captain of the band, played the alto saxophone, and was part of the school’s JRTC program. She loved being part of a team and serving in a leadership role–skills that later became very useful in her career at SaGa 26 Consulting!
Je’Bria first learned about SaGa 26 Consulting while she was searching for opportunities online. She saw our firm’s job advertisement on Indeed and became intrigued. What caught Je’Bria’s eye the most on the advertisement was the opportunity for growth within the company and that all promotions are merit-based, so she decided to apply.
After the first initial interview with SaGa 26 Consulting’s President & CEO, Brad, Je’Bria was invited back for a second interview to shadow the daily responsibilities of the position. Her second interview was conducted by our Senior Corporate Trainer, Jaimell, and Je’Bria really liked the way Jaimell explained the advancement structure and growth opportunities. Though she interviewed at similar firms in the area, Je’Bria liked the professionalism and opportunity that SaGa 26 Consulting offered.
The marketing and sales aspects of the position came naturally to Je’Bria due to her love for interacting with people face-to-face. She describes herself as a “people person” and says that she has always been a great communicator. Working at SaGa 26 Consulting has allowed Je’Bria to see first hand that each person comes with their own learning style and in order to be an effective leader, one has to cater to his/her team members’ individual needs. Je’Bria’s best advice to anyone new starting with the company is to have a student mentality, pay attention, and take different skills from different people to find your own style. Je’Bria sees Jaimell as her most influential role model in the office because he has shown her how to train others and develop one’s leadership ability.
Outside of work, Je’Bria enjoys listening to all types of music and spending time with friends and family. She is also a talented singer and musician, playing instruments such as guitar and piano. An interesting fact about Je’Bria is that she was born on February 29th (during a leap year)!
So, what’s next for Je’Bria? Her goal is to advance within our company’s Management Training Program into an executive level position. She also plans to enroll in Southern University and earn a degree in Psychology! SaGa 26 Consulting feels incredibly fortunate to have a Je’Bria’s level of talent and hard work on our team, and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!
